My first assigned post!

1. Where are you from? State or province, and town?

I have lived my whole life in Glen Rock, New Jersey.

2. Describe a fun media experience you had during your summer vacation. BE SPECIFIC.

This past sumer I attended a RUSH concert with my friends. The concert itself was amazing and it may have been the best live show i've been too.

3. Describe one thing you LIKE about our 21st century media culture, and one thing you DON'T LIKE about our 21st century media culture. BE SPECIFIC!

One thing I really like about 21st century media culture is how we have used technology to our advantage to promote our ideas. For example the ipads and ipods along with smart phones allow people who use them to have near limitless news and information at their fingertips.

One thing I dislike about the media is how it is abused to a degree. For example I personally feel that sometimes media and advertising can be too "in your face." Also its abused in the sense that companies that are big named and all over the globe can use their known status to jack up prices (apple ipods only cost around $90 to make but can be sold for up to $400)

4. Future

As for my future I am leaning towards being a Graphic designer. I feel its the right fit because i've loved all types of art my whole life and a lot of the different forms of art I enjoy (Drawing, photography, ect.) can be used in graphic design.
